ONE MILLION CHAMPIONS FOR INDIA INITIATIVE

The "One Million Champions for India Initiative" spans multiple domains, each of which is crucial to India's development and global standing. The fellowship program is designed to certify one lakh (100,000) fellows in each of the following domains, ensuring that the nation's progress is holistic and multi-faceted.
Digital Champions
Target:** 1 lakh fellows.
Objective: In the digital age, understanding the digital landscape is imperative. This domain will focus on equipping fellows with skills in digital literacy, online marketing, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. Collaboration with major digital platforms like Facebook and Google is proposed to ensure that the training provided is cutting-edge, relevant, and aligned with global standards.
Business Champions
Target:** 1 lakh fellows.
Objective: Economic growth is the cornerstone of national development. This domain will focus on providing fellows with insights into business management, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and economic strategies. The program will explore partnerships with global institutions such as MasterCard and Goldman Sachs to offer top-tier training and mentorship, ensuring that these future business leaders are well-prepared to drive economic growth.
Social Champions
Target:** 1 lakh fellows.
Objective: Sustainable growth requires a focus on social justice and community development. This domain will train fellows in social justice, public health, and community development, equipping them to address social issues effectively. Collaboration with large NGOs and academic institutions like the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is proposed to provide the necessary expertise and resources.
Technology Champions
Target:** 1 lakh fellows.
Objective:Technology is the backbone of modern development. This domain will provide training in software development, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and other technological innovations. Partnerships with organizations like Wipro Foundation or CMC will ensure that fellows are equipped with the latest technological knowledge and skills, enabling them to lead in the tech-driven future.
Political Champions
Target:** 1 lakh fellows.
Objective:Effective governance and political leadership are crucial for the nation’s progress. This domain will focus on educating fellows on governance, public policy, political strategy, and civic engagement. Involvement of institutions like the Azim Premji Governance School and various political think tanks is suggested to provide a robust foundation in political leadership.
Sustainability Champions
Target:** 1 lakh fellows.
Objective:In the face of climate change and environmental degradation, sustainability is no longer an option but a necessity. This domain will train fellows on how to develop and lead sustainable projects, minimizing environmental impact. Partnerships with sustainability-focused firms and real estate developers will ensure that fellows are equipped to lead in this crucial domain.
Infrastructure Champions
Target:** 1 lakh fellows.
Objective:Infrastructure development is vital for any nation’s growth. This domain will train fellows in developing infrastructure projects with an emphasis on sustainable development. Collaboration with large real estate builders and infrastructure development firms will provide practical insights and hands-on experience, preparing fellows to lead in this critical area.

Target:** 1 lakh fellows.
Objective:The hospitality industry is a key contributor to the economy, especially in a culturally rich country like India. This domain will focus on developing leaders in the hospitality sector, with training provided in collaboration with large hotel chains and global organizations. This will ensure that India remains a top destination for global tourism, contributing to economic growth.
AI and SaaS Champions
Target:** 1 lakh fellows.
Objective:Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Software as a Service (SaaS) are rapidly growing sectors with immense potential. This domain will focus on developing the necessary skills and knowledge to lead in these sectors. Training will be provided in collaboration with large AI firms and B2B SaaS champions, preparing fellows to lead in the next wave of technological innovation.
Healthcare & Longevity Champions
Target:** 1 lakh fellows.
Objective:The Healthcare industry is a key contributor to the health of the economy, especially in a longevity rich India which had rich Ayurvedic roots . This domain will focus on developing leaders in the healthcare and natural wellness sectors, with training provided in collaboration with large universities and wellness and longevity focussed organizations. This will ensure that India remains a top destination for Health tourism, while balancing health of the country contributing to economic growth.
